The India Cements Ltd said it may need to put its capital expenditure plans on the backburner if the current economic slowdown persists, reports The Times of India. Eurocement Group will invest RUB2.2bn (US$37.7m) in the modernisation of two cement plants in the Leningrad region, Russia. Buzzi Unicem's turnover for the first nine months was up by 1.7% to €2,146.3m and the EBITDA increased by 11.7% to €368.7m.
